I had to write my first song today, I almost got mauled for the lyrics. I just joined this club that my English teacher told me I should join where they write songs, its called the songwriters club, how convenient. Anyway, he wanted to bring "order" to these meetings so he gave us 3 chords and a topic, love. He then walked over to me and said just worry about the lyrics since you never wrote lyrics before.

I sit there for like 20 minutes writing something that sounds decent and could be used in a metal song. My teacher asks people to read/sing their lyrics for the rest of the group; five girls raise their hands to share theirs. after listening to them I hope he doesn't call me. About 4 out of 5 of them were about some guy dumping them. As soon as I realize that and hope I don't have to read mine, he calls me. Mine just so happens to be about me dumping some girl. Luckily my English teacher liked it and I didn't get mauled.

Anyway. I liked how the lyrics were going so being that I am going on vacation, I'm gonna finish them up and hopefully compose some riffs to go along with it.
